super-cyclone hit people of Orissa. The seeds, worth about Rs. 25 lacs, provides the basic

longterm income generation.
The seeds were given to the Department of Agriculture, Orissa through
the Department of Agriculture, West Bengal. Till date about 150 MT. seeds have already

rice.
In the aggregate of 200 MT. this translates to 4000 hect. of land
cultivated, with a harvest of approximately 12,000 MT. of rice worth about Rs. 6 crore. In
addition the cultivation will also produce 12,000 MT. of straw for fodder & thatching.
About 8 lac mandays of employment (including farm labour) will be generated. Furthermore
the Company has offered the Govt. of Orissa 500 MT. of its popular "Pallishrees
Sufala" TM brand H.Y.V. Seeds; at a no profit rate Rs. 10/- per kg. to be delivered
