Pallishree Ltd. is a part of the B.K. Roy Group of Companies, founded by Late Sri B.K. Roy, a legend and a great visionary of the new West Bengal agricultural and poultry sectors. The group comprises of frontline Companies in Indian agro-industry sector – Pallishree Limited, Arambagh Hatcheries Ltd. B.C.F.L., Arambagh Solvent.

Pallishree Limited started as a Company promoting the use of Chemical Fertilisers in the early 1950s. In 1985 it started producing Paddy Seeds. From a humble beginning of 100 MT. H.Y.V. Paddy seeds per year, Pallishree now sells 20,000 MT. H.Y.V. Paddy Seeds per year in Eastern India. In another year it hopes to reach a target of 30,000 MT H.Y.V. Paddy Seeds Per Year and over 50 different varieties for all types of Agro-climatic condition.

Pallishree also produces and sells various Oilseeds, Potato Seeds and Jute Seeds, Maize seeds, Pulses.

Pallishree has started producing and selling vegetable seeds both Hybrid and excellent O.P. varieties. Already, in two years time, many varieties are sold all over India, with farmers expressing great satisfaction over the outstanding production from usage of these seeds. Seeds produced by us are utilised by the govt. departments for different govt. sponsored projects.

Alongwith the production of quality seeds of Rice & Vegetables, Pallishree Ltd. is engaged in the manufacture of fertiliser mixture of various grades, organic manures for flower garden & etc. The Company sold 5000 Mt. (approx.) fertilisers in 1998-99 fiscal year.
